Halloween costumes aren’t just for trick or treating and Halloween parties. Do you ever buy costumes (or spend money to make them) and wish that they could be worn for more than one night? They can! Don’t pack them away after the Halloween festivities are over! If your kids are anything like mine, they love to wear their costumes throughout the year and play dress up with them.
For any pre-Halloween activities, throw on your costume and bake Halloween cookies.
Or even make Halloween crafts while wearing a costume. You can make general crafts or make crafts associated with the costumes that are being worn. How fun would that be?
Another great idea is to set up a scene for your child to play pretend while wearing their costume. How adorable is this setup for a mini witch?
What about setting up a play date with a bestie while wearing costumes? I would have loved to have done this as a child.
And of course, how fun would it be to set up a photoshoot to capture the costume?
